Retreat

All students must take part in two retreats throughout their doctoral studies and help to organise at least one of these, unless they are part of an SFB research group. In this case, the LSM will accept the participation of two SFB retreats (correctly documented and handed into the LSM office) as the equivalent of one LSM retreat, without the organizational support.

LSM retreat's include a combination of up-to-date research from each doctoral student with social events, such as skiing, hiking and historical visits when available, as well as a two-day workshop, on such topics as:

  • Fit for the Job
  • Bio-ethics
  • Open topic
