Research Description:
My research is focused on the integration of stress signaling in the plant metabolism. Therefore I work with Arabidopsis thaliana as a model plant. I currently want to understand how my protein of interest, the Sucrose-non-fermenting related Kinase 1 (SnRK1), receives different stress signals. Additionally I am interested in the output of its regulatory function. In my work I use standard techniques like western blots or qRT-PCRs as well as techniques specific for metabolomic analyses.
